The magical vista of Prajna today is enchanting and tranquil, a stark contrast to its ravaged landscape just three generations ago. Ever escalating conflict born of greed and deception had resulted in a cataclysmic global war, unleashing titanic arcane energies and leaving the world crippled. The Great War left its mark on the land, but not on the hearts and minds of the majority.

Today, the young play in streets and cities of plenty run by a people whose ancestors paid the ultimate price for unquestioning trust in deceptive, depraved dictators. Sadly, not all survivors of the Great War seek the future. Known as the Jetkin, they have been warped by magical fallout and poor living conditions. Though few in number, the Jetkin tirelessly seek to pull Prajna back into hatred and chaos.
